Hard Red Spring Wheat

Huron is a cross of White Fife and Ladoga made at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa in 1888. It was only grown experimentally in the US, but was widely grown for a time in eastern Ontario, Quebec, and the Canadian Maritime provinces.
